30 June 19 - Children's Party Ideas

If we say the words ‘Kid’s Party’, does your brain automatically think of 30 kids hyped up on ice cream? Yes? Then no fear, we’re here to provide you with the best of the best ideas to ensure your child’s next birthday party goes down in history…

  • Firstly, what’s the theme? Unicorns? Dinosaurs? Pirates? Superheroes? All of the above? Getting a theme in place from the offset ensures you can plan everything around it including invitations, food and games…
  • Speaking of invites, get these out nice and early… kid’s tend to have an EPIC social calendar these days (We’re not just Bouncy Castle experts, we’re also well established ‘Taxi parents’ too)
  • Ok, let’s get down to the good stuff- entertainment! We’re talking magicians, clowns, pass the parcel OR of course one of our incredible interactive inflatables (thought we’d just casually drop that plug in there)these include a bowling alley, disco domes, assault courses and your good old fashioned bouncy castle with a slide.

Other party games to consider: Musical chairs, pin the tail, egg and spoon race, keep the balloon up, sleeping lions (save that one for when you need a 5 second rest).

  • Music – create a playlist beforehand so you’re ready to press play on the day (also might save you from listening to Baby Shark 20 times in a row). Did you know our Disco Domes include lights and speakers?
  • Food – kids love a buffet, in fact so do adults too! Mini versions of food such as pizzas, sandwiches and fruit kebabs keep things simple and easy all round. We spotted some pretty nifty ideas in this Metro article here
  • And the extras… birthday cake (chocolate is our favourite if you’re asking!), party bags and balloons. You can pick these last two up rather cheaply in your local supermarket or B&M bargains store.

And then there’s the clear up after. We can’t help with the washing up (although we highly recommend paper plates) but we can offer a seamless and easy bouncy castle deflation and removal – check out more on that here.

Good luck, and enjoy!
