From Inflation to Deflation
Ok, here comes the not so fun part! You’ve had a whale of a time, you’ve bounced, jumped and laughed your way through the day but now, we need to deflate and get the inflatable back to Bounce HQ for inspection before the next event…
So how do we do this safely and effectively? Good question:
- Before we start deflating, we ensure all users and spectators are at a safe distance away and then we get the rubber gloves out for a quick once over to ensure we’re scrubbed clean and no new marks have appeared on the equipment.
- Any new marks or damage to the inflatable is then noted down so it can be addressed back at HQ.
- We then leave all anchorage points connected whilst the inflatable lets itself down. We use this time to clear away the blower, impact mats and any electrical equipment
- Once fully deflated, we remove all the stakes or weights and lay it out flat where we can ensure all the air is out and we can start to roll up the inflatable (don’t worry guys, this bit makes us just as sad as you!)
- Then, following correct manual handling procedures of course we tuck the inflatable safely in the back of our van and bid you a fond farewell… until next time!
Now it’s your turn to get involved. We leave the next bit up to you: Simply give us a call and book us again…
